Computer Hardware:

1.      Minimum requirements for Windows  XP: 2gb memory, 2.0ghz processor,

no Celeron processor, minimum 2gb hard drive.

**Minimum requirements for Windows? Vista: 2gb memory, 256mb video card, minimum 80gb hard drive, 2.2ghz processor, no Celeron processor. 

2.      Sound card and speakers.

3.      Monitor.

4.      CD-Rom or DVD drive.

5.      High-speed internet (DSL or Cable) with email address.    

6.      Windows XP recommended.

7.      Printer.

8.      USB port for foot pedal.

Computer Software:

1.      Word processor, Microsoft Word 2000 or higher.

2.      Microsoft Internet explorer 5.x or higher (8.x not recommended as it is not compatible with some hospital systems).

3.      Virus protection software; AVG antivirus or AVAST(McAfee and Norton Antivirus programs are not compatible with some hospital systems).

**VISTA /WINDOWS 7 IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT THIS TIME**

Vista/Windows 7 is still not compatible with some or all of our systems and will not be for some time.
